Front Desk Opening Hours
Our Front Desk is open from 7am. until 11pm daily (7:00 a.m. – 09:00 p.m. outside of peak season).
Check in time is from 4pm until 11pm (09:00 p.m. outside of peak season).
Late arrivals (after 09:00pm) please contact the Front Desk prior to your arrival to make arrangements.
Check out time is at 11am. A fee may be incurred for late check outs after this time, unless pre-arranged.
Cancellations
Group cabins, multiple reservations, reservations for 4 consecutive nights or more and Christmas bookings are subject to a specific cancellation policy (see deposit section below). Cancellations received 72 hours or more prior to your arrival incur no fee. Cancellations received within 72 hours of the date of arrival at 4 pm (PST) or no-shows are subject to a fee of 100% of the total reservation charges (including tax). There are no exceptions to this cancellation policy. There are no exceptions to this cancellation policy: We do not offer refunds or transfer reservation dates due to personal illness, family emergency, injury, weather, highway closure or COVID-19. Please remember that transportation to and from Glacier House Resort is weather dependent and delays can happen. Glacier House Resort is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to poor access conditions or road closures. Reliable prediction of factors such as weather and snow is impossible. We strongly urge our clients to purchase appropriate travel insurance prior to booking.
Summer & Witer Peak Season Cancellations
Cancellations received at least 8 days prior to your check-in date 4:00PM PST (Revelstoke, BC), NO cancellation fee will be charged. For cancellations received 3 – 7 days prior to your check-in date 4:00PM PST (Revelstoke, BC), 50% of the reservation full balance will be retained by Glacier House Resort. For cancellations received within 72 hours prior to your check-in date 4:00PM PST (Revelstoke, BC), 100% of the reservation full balance and be retained by Glacier House Resort. There are no exceptions to this cancellation policy: We do not offer refunds or transfer reservation dates due to personal illness, family emergency, injury, weather, highway closure or COVID-19. Reservation Amendments
Date changes can be accommodated where possible when made 7 days or more prior to your arrival.
Payment
A valid credit card must be presented at check-in. Credit cards accepted are Mastercard, Visa and American Express (a 3% surcharge applied if paying by Amex). Full payment of reservation is due 72 hours before the expected day of arrival.
Deposits
Deposits are required under the following circumstances; Reservations for 4 or more room nights and/or 4 or more rooms require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due on the day of arrival.
Winter Holiday Reservations
Dec 13th, 2023 – Jan 6rd, 2024. 50% non-refundable deposit required at time of booking. Cancellations 31 days or more = No Cancellation Fee. Cancellations between 8 – 30 days prior to arrival = 50% of reservation balance. Cancellation between 0 – 7 days prior to arrival = 100% of reservation balance. Group and Wedding Bookings
Group bookings and Wedding group bookings are subject to specific group policies and terms and conditions. Please contact us for up to date information regarding your group or wedding reservation.
Seasons 2023 / 2024
Spring – April 1st until June 1st
Summer (peak) – June 1st until September 16th
Fall – September 16th until November 30th
Winter (peak) – December 1st until March 31st, 2024
Please note our restaurant hours and dining options may be limited outside of peak seasons.
Pets
Only certain room types at Glacier House are pet friendly; please check with Front Desk at the time of booking. Pet friendly accommodation must be requested at time of booking. If you have booked via a third party agent, please contact us directly to ensure your pet friendly room has been reserved – we cannot guarantee a pet friendly room until you have received confirmation directly from us. Pets are $30.00 per night per pet, plus taxes; a maximum of 3 pets per unit are allowed. At the time of check-in guests will be required to sign Glacier House Resort’s Pet Policy. Guests must notify Glacier House Resort prior to arrival if they are bringing a pet. Pets are NOT allowed in any of the non-designated pet friendly accommodations or common areas of the main lodge. If a guest brings a pet into a non-pet room or cabin, a cleaning fee equal to a 2 night stay in that room/cabin will be charged to the guest’s credit card. Pets must remain on leash at all times while on the property.
Private Hot Tubs (cabins only)
All guests may use our public hot tub in the Lodge building at no additional cost.
Rates & Occupancy
All rooms/cabins are subject to a maximum occupancy; please check this with the Front Desk.
Lodge Rooms with Two Kings, rates are based on 3 occupancies.
All other Lodge room rates are based on 2 occupancies.
Cozy Cabin rates are based on 3 adults sharing.
Large Group Cabin rates are based on 8 adults sharing in winter.
All other Cabins are rates are based on 4 adults sharing.
Additional persons are $25.00 per person, per night plus tax.
(Spring, Summer – April 1st to November 30th : $25.00 per person, per night)
All Cabin’s bookings are subject to a minimum 2-night stay( Except May 1st to June 15th, October 1st to November 30th)
Cooking
Strictly NO Cooking of Food inside the lodge rooms, except the use of microwave to avoid fire hazards. Use of Air Fryer, Stove, or Induction will be prohibited.
Children
Are considered to be 12 years of age and under. Up to 2 children are included in the rate per unit, thereafter the standard additional person fee is applicable. All children staying at Glacier House Resort must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Fire Regulations / Wildlife Awareness
We are located in a pristine wilderness, please help us to respect and look after our natural environment. Food cannot be left outside on patios or hallways as it attracts wildlife. Glacier House Resort is not responsible for lost or spoiled items.
Smoking
Glacier House Resort is a non-smoking property except for designated outside ground areas. Smoking in the rooms/cabins (or on the balcony) will result in a cleaning fee equal to 2 nights of room/cabin price, which will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
Damages
We reserve the right to charge your credit or debit card for any damage(s) incurred to your room, cabin or the Lodge during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave. Food and cooler bins cannot be left outside on patios or hallways as it attracts wildlife. Glacier House Resort is not responsible for lost or spoiled items.
Parking
Park on the paved areas only, or as instructed. Improperly parked vehicles and trailers will be towed and risk of damage is at the vehicle owners’ expense. Vehicles and their contents are left at the owner’s/customer’s own risk. Glacier House Resort does not accept any responsibility or liability for loss or damage.
